　第12回日本コンピュータ外科学会大会が下記の要項で開催されます．次大会も第13回コンピュータ支援画像診断学会との共催です．会員の皆様には奮って御参加いただきますようお願い申し上げます．また昨年に続き，合同特別講演，シンポジウムも開催されます．

日本コンピュータ外科学会臨時総会

　平成１５年５月２６日，東京大学本郷キャンパス工学部にて臨時総会が開催されました．杉町圭蔵理事長の挨拶の後，平成14年度事業報告，収支決算報告，平成15年度事業計画が事務局より説明され，審議ののち承認されました．また学会活動充実のため，正会員会費を現状の5,000円から10,000円に，維持会員会費を１口10,000円から20,000円に改正することが提案され，審議の後，それに伴う会則の変更が承認されました．その他，手術ロボットの臨床研究に関する学会ガイドライン策定ＷＧ発足や第一回九州大学先端医工学フォーラムの計画についての説明などが行われました．

第５回耳鼻咽喉科ナビゲーション研究会

　本研究会も5回目を迎え，これまでに耳鼻咽喉科・頭頸部の各領域の手術適応ならびに問題点を検討してまいりました．今回は二つのテーマで，ナビゲーション機器に注目し，ユーザーの立場から各機種の使用，問題点などを検討する企画と，もう一つはバーチャル手術と手術教育の将来についての企画を予定しております．その他にも一般演題を募集いたします．

　下記の日程で開催を予定しておりますので興味をお持ちの多くの先生方の御参加を歓迎いたします．
