第７回日本コンピュータ外科学会が下記の要領で開催されます．コンピュータ外科に関する一般講演，シンポジウム，デモンストレーションを予定しています．例年と同じく第８回コンピュータ支援画像診断学会(CADM)との合同開催とし，合同セッション，シンポジウムを行います．また今回は新しい試みとして The 2nd Japan-China Conference on Computer Aided Surgeryとの共催で，中国からの参加者も招いた英語セッションを開催します．会員皆様には奮ってご参加下さいますようお願い申し上げます．

この度，日本コンピュータ外科学会では学会のシンボルマークを制定するために学会員の皆様からマーク案を応募することになりました．
本会が1987年にコンピュータ外科研究会として発足以来，11年が経過しました．その間に，学会への移行，国際コンピュータ外科学会の発足，日本学術会議の公認，特許法第３０条に基づく学術団体指定などの変遷を経て順調に発展してまいりました．その間，コンピュータグラフィックス画像など数種類がマークとして使われてきました．それらは会員の大学研究室での研究成果であったりしたため，より一般的で広く利用できるシンボルマークを制定します．
シンボルマークは，学会誌や学会大会抄録集の表紙，学会のWWWホームページ，学会関連の印刷物などに使用する予定です．採用作品には最優秀賞として賞金を贈らせていただきます．以下の応募要領に基づきふるってご応募ください．
応募要領 提出作品： 以下の二種類の書式を提出してください． (1) 10cm x 10cm 程度の大きさの図柄（カラー可）…WWW用など (2) 上記を2cm程度に縮小した白黒の図柄…単色印刷の小さなマーク用など 提出形式： (1) 上記それぞれをA4の白色紙に印刷（または手書き）したもの (2) パソコンなどで作図頂いた場合は，フロッピーもお送りください． JPEG形式に変換されたファイルを入れてください． （採用作品についてはオリジナルのファイルを改めて提出頂く予定です．） (3) デザインについての簡単な説明文（A4紙） (4) 応募者の氏名・所属・連絡先を記したもの（A4紙）
(1)〜(3)にはそれぞれ応募者の氏名を明記してください．お一人で複数応募される場合は，それぞれにつき上記を用意して，○山○雄-1のように番号を付してください．
